COACH EXCURSION
TO RHS HARLOW CARR, YORKSHIRE
ON THURSDAY, 8TH MAY 2025
Spring is a wonderful time in our gardens and in early May we can expect an abundance of tulips and primulas especially at this time. Spanning 58 acres, RHS Garden, Harlow Carr is a beautiful space with great history, real character, and lots to discover. Wander around the Queen Mother’s Lake, a haven for visitors and wildlife alike, with its soft plantings, wildflower meadow and majestic trees.Then meander along the lush banks of Streamside, through the heart of the garden, and into the historic Bath House. Don’t miss the Alpine House, home to  more than 2,000 plants, or the tranquil Sandstone Rock Garden. The vibrant Sub-Tropicana  Garden will transport you to exotic climes. You can take a packed lunch or use one of three eating places in the garden, the new Harrogate Arms Café, Betty’s Tea House or Betty’s Café Tea Rooms and shops. There is also a nursery selling plants and a shop selling everything to do with gardens. Cost of £35.00 per person to include coach travel, driver’s gratuity and entrance to the garden. To make a booking, please complete a booking form and make arrangements to pay. We anticipate this will be a very popular excursion so do book early to be guaranteed a place.

COACH EXCURSION
TO EAST RUSTON OLD VICARAGE GARDEN
East Ruston, Norwich, Norfolk, NR12 9HM
ON SATURDAY 6th SEPTEMBER 2025
This wonderful and highly regarded garden spans 32 acres, containing more than 22 garden rooms to discover and explore, including herbaceous borders, gravel gardens, sub-tropical gardens, a box parterre, sunken rose garden, Mediterranean garden, Desert Wash and a large woodland garden. The structure and form of this garden make it a worthwhile visit at any time of year, with inspiration around every corner. There is also a plant sale area and a Tea Room serving drinks, light meals and tempting cakes and pastries
.This garden is in north Norfolk and quite some distance away but nevertheless we feel it is a journey well worth making as this is a very special garden. We will take a comfort break both there and back.

 

Our coach
will depart from PC Coaches depot at 17 Crofton Road, Lincoln LN3 4NL at 09.00 to arrive at the garden at approximately 12.30 (with a comfort break on the way) The Coach will leave the garden at 17.00, arriving
back at approximately 20.30.

 

The price for this day trip is £55.00 but will include the coach fare, driver’s
gratuity and entry to the garden with a cream tea.
